About

Hello there, I’m Black Mage.

My real name? Well, it’s not that I want to hide it or anything, I just prefer to be called Black Mage 🙂 You can search for my name if you like. I’m sure it’s not that hard :p

Anyway, this blog will be all about anything I worked with, whether it’s an update of a project, or just some resource or system or anything else that I make in my spare time.

Have fun here. You can comment and ask whatever related to my project, or just for a conversation 🙂

Some link that might interest you:

  • Great Conspiracy Theory. It’s a circle where I do most of my experimental works. A long time ago, it’s full of creative and energetic people inside. But due to natural selection and other reasons, we’re down to just a few active people, and several helpers. I took care of the leadership when the circle began to grow, and maintain the circle since then.
  • My Tree of Savior Sanctuary. In mid-2016 I started playing an MMORPG called Tree of Savior, and spend a lot of time on it since most of my project were on hiatus due various reasons. I love the game even though it’s still far from perfect. However, it has a lot of interesting and great feature that made me attached to it for a lot of time. I love Ragnarok Online, and Tree of Savior feels like a spiritual successor to it.

  1. Hey there! Been a while since the last time we spoke! Sorry if I’m bothering you, but I’m curious if you plan on getting RPG Maker MV that’s coming out this month? I was shocked to learn it was getting released this soon!

Though it switches from Ruby to JavaScript do you know JS or willing to learn it? I’ve done some Java back in High School so I think I can get a better handle this time around if I do scripting for it.

Still not a fan of the mapping system of VX Ace returning though hopefully I can create that Touhou RPG fan-game I want… though I might attempt my original IP simulated MMO game series! Like with .hack!

Anyway tell me what you think of it! And if you’re still sticking to XP, awesome! ^_^
I still love this one and I might ask for some help with a script or two if you don’t mind.

Well take care and see ya around!

    • It’s been years since the last time I use JS. Anyway, I welcome the new RPG Maker, had it pre-order-ed, even.

I’ll try to support the new one, though I’ll stick with XP and Ace for several years later, until all my unfinished project’s are finished.

You can always ask for a script here, and if many people need it, I’ll do it for free, as long as I can manage my time to do it. 🙂

  2. Oh cool! I also pre-order RPG Maker MV via Steam (if I known that the official website would’ve offered a “free” copy on the Steam account I would’ve done that before I placed the order… oh well) and I can’t wait to use it.

I’ve done Java in High School and know some of it so I might do JS and learn it a bit to try and get some features I want in my game when I make them.

And thanks for helping out the old Makers as well! I like you know what kinda script I’ll look for, for the old ones when I can.

I just wish the mapping system was like XP but better for MV… that was my favorite feature.

    • Hi Laxmikant. Thanks for reaching for me.

The truth is, BurningWizard is consist of me and only me at the moment. It’s not a game developer, but just a personal blog. However, it’s true that I work on several game, even developing some myself. But it’s considered a personal project, and I thought the QA can be done by myself, considering the project’s scope is not big enough.

Anyway, thanks for your offer. I’ll let my colleagues know about your service when anything about QA are discussed.
